Ian Dickinson Joins Bryce Space and Technology Team

ALEXANDRIA, V.A., March 31, 2017 – Bryce Space and Technology acquires cyber firm ID Associates and welcomes Brig Gen (Ret.) Ian Dickinson as Chief Operating Officer and senior cyber expert.
General Dickinson is a leader in cyberspace for military and government organizations. In his career, General Dickinson served in increasingly challenging roles in the Air Force. He managed, maintained, and secured the cyberspace domain used by the Air Force, as well as trained warfighters to fight in and protect that domain. He served as Deputy CIO of the Joint Staff, ran regional communications for task forces in combat, and oversaw the creation of the first undergraduate cyber training curriculum for Air Force personnel.
As founder and CEO of ID Associates, he grew a multi-faceted consulting and strategy practice with customers across the technology and financial services sectors. He expanded his cyber expertise in his work at ID Associates by developing and educating senior leaders in strategic cyber security programs.

General Dickinson was the Commander, 81st Training Wing, Keesler AFB, Mississippi, where he commanded 5,000 airmen and civilians, providing technical training and creating combat capability for air, space, and cyberspace forces. Previous roles include base, center, major command in acquisition, operations, and maintenance of communications and information capabilities.
General Dickinson is a distinguished graduate of the US Air Force Academy and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He earned a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University.
